    Autumn 2

This half term, 2V have been extremely busy with their upcoming Christmas play and their amazing learning. We made our first class trip last to the Hanwell viaduct as part of our design project and have been busy designing and building our own bridges.  We also walked to Greenford Memorial and laid a handmade wreath whilst the “Last Post” sounded. In our Remembrance assembly we discussed the importance of the poppy and took time to reflect and pray for those who have died for our country.  In RE this term, we have been learning about “Signs and Symbols” and Advent. We have also been busy rehearsing the songs for our Nativity play, "Straw and Order."

    Autumn 1

2V have been working extremely hard over the last few weeks. We had lots of fun in maths last week and learned how to convert centimetres into metres and centimetres. We also measured ourselves to see who was the tallest and shortest in the class. Some of us got to measure some of the teachers as well, and found out just how tall Miss Paul was. Mrs Verity was happy that Mrs Malik was the same height as her!
